Internal Vacancy Manager: Finance (NB09) Reporting to - Head: Finance

JOB PURPOSE:

To ensure accurate and timely reporting of the subsidiaries in the Nedbank Group. 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: 

• Ensuring the Statutory, management and financial reporting process is established effective and delivering the required reports.
• Review and control of budget variances as reported in the appropriate forums.
• Commentary and analysis of financial results.
• Compilation of shareholder reports.
• Establishing and reviewing controls and systems to manage operational risks.
• Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of policies, systems and processes.
• Managing relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide assistance to auditors and respond/resolve audit findings proactively.
• People management and effective leadership.
• Adhoc administration and review functions.
• Ensuring that deadlines are strictly met.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Advance knowledge of Excel,bWord and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Accpac and SAP will be an added advantage.
• IFRS 17 knowledge will be an added advantage.
