Internal Vacancy 1 x MIS Accountant (Windhoek) NB08 Reporting to - Manager: Finance

Job Purpose:

To analyze, interpret, collate and present financial and non-financial information in order to drive strategy; enable decision making and support Nedbank Business Units; as per the business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and monitor revenue to reduce revenue leakage
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information
• Deliver quality reports aligned to requirements within turnaround times.
• Assist with implementation of annual price increase.
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasts.
• Build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships by proactively communicating, being flexible and open to feedback.
• Analyze data for improvement possibilities by collecting, analyzing data and establishing trends or patterns and identify possible solutions.
• Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place.
• Recommend and implement innovative solutions and improvements.
• Comply with audit requirements and assist in maintaining effective relationships with internal & external auditors.
• Build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships by proactively communicating, being flexible and open to feedback.
• Ensure that deadlines are strictly met.

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Power Point

Educational & Experience Requirements:

• B.Com Accounting degree, Accounting/Management Accounting Diploma.
• Honours degree in Finance/CIMA will be an advantage.
• Articles completed and pursuing towards CA designation would be an added advantage.
• Banking background (educated in/or experience) will be an added advantage.
