Fixed Deposits

• No transactions are allowed on this investment account during the investment period—this can remove the temptation to use funds prematurely
• There is a minimum capital amount of N$500 required;
• The interest rate and capital amount are fixed for the duration of the investment;
• On maturity a new rate and investment period may be negotiated, and you may reinvest for a further term or withdraw the investment; and
• Interest rates can be quoted on a monthly or term-effective basis.
